In this field, we are conducting research activities aiming at the regenerative therapeutic medicine. In addition, clinical education for undergraduates that focus on conservative treatment including conservative restoration and endodontics.
In order to meet these demands, we are working on the construction of a new conservative science that fuses the conventional etiology, treatment technology and basic knowledge of regenerative medicine in the conservative field.
We are conducting research aiming at practical application, that is products such as regenerative medicine that enable bone formation, endodontic treatment that causes resistance to treatment of apical periodontitis, next-generation root canal cleaning technology, health management system based on oral information.
Our research group is also working on dental treatment and oral management technology for people with intractable diseases such as Marfan syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and diabetes. Through these clinical, research, and educational activities, we aim to build a new conservative treatment system that can be applied from the dental field to the medical field.
